Medical Marijuana Certification Process
Physical Evaluation
During the initial appointment, our physicians will discuss your complete medical history, current medications, and perform a physical examination. If qualified, your information will be entered into the Office of Medical Marijuana Use Registry (MMU).
Registry Application
After approval by our physicians, the state application must be completed and submitted. Online instructions can be found at, www.knowthefactsmmj.com or our staff can help navigate the process at no charge. The required State fee of $77.75 is paid online with credit card or bank account information within the MMU.
State Approval
After submitting the application and paying the state fee, the patient will receive a temporary approval via email that day and can then proceed to the dispensary to purchase their medication. The permanent Medical Marijuana Use Registry Identification Card will be mailed to the applicant within 5 to 10 business days.
